Mission
The mission of the Department of Recreation at Dumlupınar University is to educate highly qualified recreation specialists for future generations who are virtuous, knowledgeable, modern, committed to ethical values, constructive, creative, respectful of human rights, and equipped with lifelong learning, teaching, and communication skills. In line with universal values, the department aims to prepare individuals who can adapt to constantly changing and evolving global conditions and technology, perceive the requirements of the age, and contribute to raising awareness in our country about the importance of recreation science in academic and social life.

Vision
Through the recreation specialists it educates and the national and international scientific studies it conducts in the core field of recreation, the department aims to contribute to the development of recreation science and its applications, and to become an institution that pioneers the creation of a physically active and healthy society.
